Network coverage is excellent in cities and metropolitan areas in Morocco. Expect limited signal in remote locations, such as in the mountains or in the desert, but you should generally have internet access everywhere, even while on the road in the middle of the Sahara near Ouarzazate and Merzouga.
Buy a prepaid internet SIM card
To use your mobile phone while traveling, it is best to buy a local SIM card in Morocco to insert into your unlocked phone for the duration of your stay. Otherwise, roaming can be turned on, but be sure to check the charges associated with your current provider.
Morocco has three main mobile telephone networks (Maroc Telecom, Orange and Inwi), all of which have good 4G coverage. You can purchase a SIM card from a kiosk or convenience store that sells SIM cards from one of these networks. This will cost you around 100 dirhams and give you a good amount of calls and mobile data.
